Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Action
As 2024 draws to a close, we look back at an incredible first year and reflect on how much the Hub has grown and accomplished. The Hub began the year with a clear mission: to create a thriving network of community groups and organisations collaborating to tackle the climate and nature crises in Midlothian. From outreach events and climate conversations, to coming together as network to build a shared vision, this year has been about laying strong foundations to achieve this vision.

We have finished awarding our latest round of Seedcorn Grants! Congratulations to all groups who have been awarded, there’s some amazing projects on the way and we can’t wait to see how they develop over the coming months.
Climate Stories Pop-ups
Over the past month we’ve been hosting pop-ups to hear your stories and lived experience on how the climate and weather has changed in Midlothian, and talk about what ways you’d like to see Midlothian adapt and become more resilient.
Our first Biodiversity Gathering
