Penicuik Community Initiative operates a shop selling donated items that might otherwise be discarded, recycling what cannot be sold. Funds raised support local families in need by providing essential clothing, household goods, and baby items. They collaborate with Midlothian Preloved Furniture and Midlothian Pantry to offer holistic support including a community kitchen using surplus food.
We bring together community groups and organisations across the region to share skills, support one another, and take action on the climate and nature crises. By becoming a member, you’re joining a growing movement for a fairer, more sustainable and resilient Midlothian.
Membership is free and open to any not-for-profit group based in Midlothian.
