Seedcorn Fund

The Midlothian Climate Action Hub’s Seedcorn Small Grants Fund – Capital Only is open!

The Seedcorn fund provides grants of up to £1,000 to Midlothian community groups and organisations to help them:

  • Start a new climate action project
  • Build their capacity to deliver climate action

Due to the tight deadlines involved, this fund is for the purchase of capital items only. Capital items are one-off purchases including, for example, equipment, tools or other physical resources that would help you deliver climate action projects or raise awareness of climate change or help engage people in ‘citizen science’ around the environment.

The application deadline is Thursday 22 February 2024. Applications received after this date will not be considered. Purchases should be made by Friday 15 March 2024 and receipts of the purchases should be provided to us by 22 March 2024 along with a short report.

To read the application guidelines and complete an application, click the buttons below. To complete the application you must first download the document and, under ‘File’, save it to your personal computer.
