Building Community Resilience: A Conversation Guide for Midlothian Organisations

How do poverty and climate action connect in your work?

We have created this guide to help your organisation explore how poverty and climate action connect. Whether you work on poverty, health and wellbeing, or on climate and the environment, it offers a short set of questions to talk through together, at a staff meeting, a volunteer gathering or a board meeting.

You don’t need to be a climate expert or a poverty specialist, and it only takes 15 to 30 minutes. The questions are there to start a conversation, so use what’s helpful for your group and leave the rest! At the end, you choose one thing you hadn’t considered, one conversation to continue and one action to take over the next 12 months.

We’d love to hear what comes out of your discussion, so please share your One Action Challenge through our short online form.
