Earlier this month we had a brilliant weekend at Vogrie Pogrie in Vogrie Country Park, where we connected with over 200 people from across Midlothian, and even some visitors from further afield. At the MCAN tent, we explored biodiversity and wildlife-friendly spaces, mapping local green areas and gathering your ideas for how our communities could make these spaces richer for wildlife.
Young artists had a fantastic time colouring native pollinators, while learning about the importance of all species of pollinators in supporting our ecosystems.
The suggestions we got from residents will feed directly into our ongoing Wildlife Corridors work, with the next meeting planned for 16th October. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!
