Coming Together Over Good Food & Shared Ideas

Last month we gathered at the MAEDT Pavilion in Mayfield for a brilliant community catch-up! From warm conversation, to inspiring project updates, amazing sunny weather plus some seriously delicious food thanks to the Pavilion kitchen team. It was a lovely reminder of the power of coming together in person.

A big thank you to Phil and Sharon for hosting us so generously. Phil gave us a tour of the community garden and greenhouse, one of many reminders of the brilliant work growing right here in Midlothian. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, as well as some new ones from groups who’ve recently joined the network.

There’s something special about sharing stories, ideas, and meals with others who care deeply about their place. Not just to share updates and spark new ideas, but to spend time together, build relationships, and strengthen the sense of community that makes local climate action possible.

Thanks again to everyone who came along. We loved hearing what you’re working on and what’s next. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
