Collaborative Projects Grants
Midlothian Wildflowers and Three Hares Woodland will be acquiring equipment and training volunteers in traditional wildflower meadows management, specifically Scything, which could then be passed on to other groups and communities in Midlothian.
Newtongrange Community Garden and Newtongrange Development Trust will be setting up monthly cooking classes and community meals for the whole village, increasing community cohesion and helping to address food poverty.
Penicuik Guerrilla Gardeners and Penicuik Petanque Club will create a pollinator highway from the town centre to the petanque piste, by installing a variety of planters along the area.
